Keep Out

I have walked past this private club near the St. George subway station hundreds of times. I have been inside once (for a wedding reception). To me, this location positively screams “Keep Out!”

The Inevitability of Failure

I assume that at some point this was someone’s family business, into which was poured sweat and tears, but is now just another derelict building, a blank canvas for graffiti.

Reflections

I made today’s image with a Smartphone in my home office. I have an old Graflex flash gun that I held in one hand and I shot the image with the other hand. I like how the reflections turned out!

Something New

Recently the new walkway over Queen Street between the Eaton Centre and Hudson’s Bay opened. Given what is happening to Bricks and Mortar retail it seems like a bridge between two dinosaurs, but I do like the look if it, compared to its dull and dingy predecessor.
